The worst Bethel department.....
by LDH inok, the obvious choice is the writing department.
but, my hands down favorite is the lame-ass "art department.
" perhaps if they had allowed their members to explore the world of the arts, they wouldn't have been stuck with people who basically draw nothing but stick figures.. my daughter is 12 and her drawings have more depth than most of what appears in the magazines and publications.. any other nominees, or is the art department gonna run away with it?.

WT Crazy Rulings on SEX and Marriage---
by JT ina few post over the question was posted about what was the finally straw for you leaving wt and farkel highlighted all the crazy dogmas of wt and tongue and cheeked commented that he could deal with all those things except the ban on bj.. so some of the guys here at work asked me to explain it to them what ban on bj- .
as i was explaining it the issue of remarriaged came up and i found it most interesting how once again wt makes up it's own rules for folks lives.. .
consider this - in africa- a man can take on multiple wives in many countries since his religion allows him to do so and still have gods approval.. so when he starts to study the bible with jw he is told that since he has been taught something that is not supported by the bible the taking of multiple wives for christians ( ok solomon was the first playa on record) .

When the Society sends them back to their old hall, the M.T.S. brothers STILL get discouraged, because here they have received all this so-called training and STILL they have to go back and keep doing the same thing that they've been doing all along......another case of WTS not knowing what to do with people's lives.

Another interesting thing about MTS was that brothers that went through it were STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to remain single for at least 2 years after completion of the course. As one brother at the house used to say "they're the Society's property for those 2 years." I heard of quite a few getting married before this 2-year stipulation was up and as a result forfeiting any potential assignments.
Also, I believe the whole thing is/was Jaracz's baby with cats like DO's Illingworth, Hinderer, Charles Jackson, Goff and a few others serving as teachers for it.

for senior bethelite members, you're basically lickin' your chops because all those years of seniority can be used to obtain a room with a ...............bathroom.

Hey Mike:
Yeah, man....90 Sands was the place to be when I was there. You get in there and you were living PHAT. Although, looking back on it I would have loved to have had a room off-site......out of the Towers, 124 spectrum. Brothers that I knew that had those kind of rooms would give away with having bootleg cable in there and it was great for parties...oops I mean gatherings.......

Yeah, from what I gather its 2 months of straight-up cult programming. I hear they go through everything (Bible, several publications, BIG-TIME organizational policies). Many have said its like getting a corporate gilead education (for whatever that's worth) in the span of 2-months. Are there any former MTS brothas on here?
